Quail egg and smoked salmon skewers

Serves 6

Simple, fun skewers with cherry tomatoes and sliced smoked salmon. A perfect starter to surprise your guests.

Method

  1. Boil the quail eggs for 6 minutes and cool them in cold water so they peel easily. Wash the tomatoes.
  2. Cut the salmon into 2 cm strips.
  3. Assemble each skewer: a tomato, a folded strip of salmon, a quail egg, another strip of salmon and another tomato.
  4. Mix the oil with the soy sauce, lemon, salt, pepper and sesame, and drizzle over the skewers.

The e-smok tip

Take the product out of the fridge a few minutes before using it: at room temperature cured fish releases its full aroma and its texture becomes more melting. And don't overcook it: add it at the end, off the heat, so it stays juicy.
